‘Cinema with a soul’ is a unique cultural initiative founded in 2013. The idea of the undertaking is to show the Warsaw audience the most interesting documentary films made by Polish and foreign filmmakers.
At the festival, we present films on a variety of subjects – from social, through historical, family – but they all have a reflection on what life is and what values and choices it brings. Our viewers see this and we are hosting more and more of them every year.
During ‘Cinema with soul’ we not only present valuable documents, but also organize debates, discussion panels, meetings with directors and film characters.
Each such meeting is a unique opportunity to present important problems in the field of culture, history, social or religious life.
An inseparable part of the Festival are the morning educational blocks, dedicated to young recipients – students of upper secondary schools.
The festival is a non-profit undertaking. Free admission to all film screenings, events and the final gala.
To participate in festival events, simply collect free tickets at Kinoteka ticket office.
